Mag3 EX Update

NEW ARRIVAL

MAKINO MAG 3 EX - A five-axis horizontal machining center, the MAG3 EX is specifically designed for high productivity machining of complex aluminum monolithic parts for aerospace.   It integrates speed and power of the spindle with a machine platform that provides rapid precision contouring capability while maximizing the percentage of the total time the spindle is cutting. The number of process variables related to the part production and the number of set ups are both minimized.

The MAG3 EX has a proprietary industry-leading spindle design to ensure high metal removal rates.   It can also be configured with an automatic pallet transfer and storage system in Makino’s highly flexible MMC system that enables extended periods of unattended operation.

 Mag 3ex

Names like DAEWOO, DOOSAN, SNK, MAZAK and MAKINO combine to give Pro-Fab, Inc. horizontal spindle capacities of up to 140 inches of travel in the X axis and up to 120 inches in Y and 78" in Z with full contouring capability and spindle speeds up to 15,000 RPM.  Pro-Fab's lathe department has the capability of producing some of the most intricate parts to the closest tolerances imaginable.  We have a swing capacity up to 62 inches with up to 144 inch centers.

Doosan HP6300

Pro-Fab's onsite Tool Crib features a 5 Axis Anca TX7+ CNC Tool and Cutter Grinder that can make all types of endmills, drills, spade drills, subland drills, step and form tools, standard and aluminum cut burrs, keyhole punches, and other complex and special tools from blank stock, or quickly resharpen them.
