V.F.W. PRESENTS AWARD TO PRO-FAB, INC.

The Veteran of Foreign Wars, Department of Oklahoma, annually presents awards to the outstanding Employers of the Year for providing employment and training opportunities to Oklahoma’s Veterans.  The Oklahoma awards committee was unanimous in selecting Pro-Fab, Inc. to receive the V.F.W.’s 2007 “Large Employer of the Year” Award.

City and state officials recognized Pro-Fab, Inc. for successfully completing its second SHARP re-certification.

Representatives from the Oklahoma Department of  Labor presented the award.  Those attending were:  Lloyd Fields, Commissioner of Labor, Diana Jones, Safety Pays Director, Jim Ross, Assistant Director of Safety, and Michael Chumo from the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce.

The Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP) recognizes employers who operate an exemplary safety and health management system. Acceptance into SHARP by OSHA is an achievement that is a model for worksite safety and health.

We have met all the requirements for SHARP Certification.  OSHA issued our certificate today! And, we have successfully renewed our certification through November 5, 2006 !

The official Flag Presentation by the Oklahoma Labor Commissioner, Brenda Reneau Wynn was July 15, 2003, here in our plant. We are very proud to be one of the safest places in Oklahoma to work.
