CNC Machinist

Minimum of 2 years experience required preferably in the aerospace industry. 

Job duties include:

•  Setting up and operating 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC equipment
•  Using basic G and M codes
•  Using tool call and tool offset codes
•  Setting tool lengths
•  Editing programs
•  Use work offsets / work coordinates
•  Identifying proper tooling
•  Measuring and inspecting parts
•  Review / follow job planning
•  Entering production information
•  Maintaining accuracy of job planning data

Skill / Knowledge requirements include:

•  Experience with Mazak and Fanuc controls

Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines, jig bore, engine lathe, and press brake.                                .

•  Proficient using sine plates and rotary tables
•  Ability to hold close tolerances
•  Identifying proper tooling
•  Measuring and inspecting parts
•  Reviewing / following job planning
•  Entering production information
•  Maintaining accuracy of job planning data

CNC Programmer

3 years aerospace experience required.

Develop and maintain complete engineering packet for the manufacture of customer parts.

 Job duties include:

•  Generating NC programs, QA data, and documentation for assigned parts.
• Maintaining / modifying new programs through 1^st article (tool proof).
•  Maintaining NC documentation as required.
•  Creating / maintaining part masters / methods of manufacturing as needed.
•  Initiating special tooling and fixture purchases.
•  Participating in bid process as needed.
•  Providing technical assistance to shop personnel and Quality Assurance.

Skill / Knowledge requirements include:

•  Proficient operating CNC equipment
•  Proficient in Cam software, preferably Mastercam, Smartcam, or Camax Command
•  Proficient using Catia
•  2 axis, 3 axis, 4 axis and/or 5 axis programming capabilities
•  Effective interpersonal skills
•  Strong time management skills
•  Effective communication skills
•  Proficient word processing skills

•  Complete nonconforming material reports
